Waylon Brinck - Older Art and Other Works
Back to Portfolio

On this page you will find a collection of older professional work, along with some side projects and other interesting stuff.

(2011) I created this environment to familiarize myself with new features of the Unreal Development Kit. I created all elements of the scene (modeling, texturing, lighting, post process, shaders, layout).

(2007) I was Lead Artist on Medal of Honor: Airborne. This is a promotional shot from a scene in which I was heavily involved.

(2007) In-game screenshot from Medal of Honor: Airborne. I closely directed the creation of this scene, and also created a lot of the environment textures and shaders.

(2008) MOH:Airborne multiplayer level "Heraklion". (Image re-captured in the updated Medal of Honor renderer.) I was lead artist on this level, and involved in all of the rendering upgrades.

Besides art, I have a strong interest in all aspects of game development. Click the above image for one of my side-projects, a flash game I created from scratch (most notably the design and programming - note that it's at roughly a "Tech Demo" stage, all assets are temp.)

I've created numerous training resources over the years, many of which have gained wide recognition:

I'm an avid photographer. My work varies between photography-as-art and photography-as-reference. (Click the image for my photo page)

(2004) "Bunchies" creature model and rig (based on the concept by Aaron St. Goddard).

(2004) Industrial environment. Fully modeled, textured, and lit by me in 3ds Max.

(2003) I was the sole artist on Vendetta Online, an MMO space shooter. This is some concept work and modeling from that project.
